Why do most ppl on this site always side w Dana over the fighters?

I haven't heard a single good argument against any of those points. The argument of "I bust my ass and get CTE therefore I deserve more money" doesn't hold any weight. Give me a good counter argument to any of my points. I have no problem with these guys getting paid. I think they deserve whatever they can negotiate. If they don't like it they need to team up, go on strike, do something. Going on social media and complaining isn't going to do anything. Or start up a gofundme and beg for money I guess.

UFC fighters are a big deal to us b/c we are fans. But in the US and worldwide it's a TINY drop in the bucket for sports. Everyone in the world probably knows Messi or Lebron James. Anderson Silva probably wouldn't even be recognized in my local supermarket.

I dont care much for Dana White but the harsh reality is the fighters best interests and the fans best interests dont align all that much.
 
People don't see the time and effort put in.

They think oh he's inside the cage for an hour a year and gets 2x what I make slaving away all day. And he doesn't even have a degree.

I've already compiled them so many times that I won't bother making the list again. But now you are saying there may be a problem but they have to deal with it themselves by unionizing which may be a fair point but it's a far cry from saying there is definitely no problem at all.

What are you talking about, very few side with Dana? The vast majority think fighters are treated badly and that fighter pay needs to improve. If you are saying people agree with Dana when he talks about certain fighters' behaviour, you may be right. There are quite many fighters who are whining constantly about something and ducking/sitting out waiting for a favourable matchup and just because the enter an octagon doesn't mean you have to agree with everything that they say.
