BBC even admits their bias against Christianity and for taking it "soft" on Islam.
I don't want to defend the BBC in this case on being soft on Islam. But I do understand being very critical of Christianity.
But in general criticizing Christianity is simply more common because Christian influence is much higher in western civilizations compared to Islam.
For example, people don't try to ban gay marriage or abortian because of Islam. Those are politicians that are influenced by Christianity.
Same for education people advocate against evolution because they are Christians not because they follow Islam.
Or in Europe having a cross hanging in school is not an issue with Islam but Christianity.
Now Islam is obviously very bad. But they don't have the same hold in our political systems Christianity has.
That's why there are more things to criticize Christianity compared to Islam.
Because Christian influence in your daily life is more common compared to Islam.
Even if Islam is the worse of two evil it doesn't hold the same relevance at the moment. When it comes to influencing your life.
