News to me. Definitely not a recurring thing anyway, in my opinion of course.

Calderwood, Pearson, Parke, Bisping, etc, but they are all actual Brits. Especially the Scots & English. If the BBC are trying to extend the UK & Northern Ireland over into Ireland, they are starting to stretch it a bit, lol. Unless they were using Conor getting his big break and building his name in the UK circuit, but he was never listed as fighting out of the UK as far as I was aware. Either way, the BBC are "at it" if they try to claim Conor.

Ironically, I seem to remember Conor proudly proclaiming his Scottish ancestry and how his ancestors were a warrior clan and fighting other clans out in the fields or something. Which I hypocritically fully endorse.

I doubt the BBC know that though, or they could try and stretch it to "the fighter, who has some British ancestry".....but even that is desperate.
