I'm confused as to what it is exactly that Conor's opponents do to deserve a slice of the pie. Imagine a 3rd rate actor, ordinarily earning 20k, all of a sudden demanding millions just because Tom Hanks has joined the cast. Conor is a very charitable individual allowing fighters get rich of his promotional work.

Consolation prize for the ass whooping he gives them

Also this model works because it makes everyone call Conor out and therefore raises Conor's profile and keeps his name in the news everytime someone tries to whine about wanting the fight with Conor.

Mayweather was always the lottery ticket and that model worked great for him because he could pick from any of the 10 chumps that were calling him out.

Nate is a big draw in his own right...not to mention he whooped that ass so he's entitled to more money

Probably because Conor cant fight himself.

Conor is indeed a charitable man. He just loves changing bum's lives.

The ones who got a pay bump for fighting conor were only Chad and Nate and it was simply because they were short notice fights.

Since not many fighters want to take such an important fight on 2 weeks notice, the pay bump is an incentive to start cutting weight and make sure you make the weigh in. Pretty simple.

And lol at basically calling Chad and Nate 3rd rate fighters. They've been perennial top10 guys for years.

Conor has only had three big paydays, and two of them were against last minute replacements and one a champ.

Because if a fighter doesn't sign to fight, then there is no fight.

Because he needs to fight someone. Since the pay does not come from his pockets your thread is worthless and wrong.

You have a loose grasp on how business works. When one is involved with a project (in your example, a movie), you demand your fair share of the pie. Should you get as much as Tom Hanks if you're just a supporting role? No. However, the movie with a dynamite actor like that will likely make a lot more money than it otherwise would have, and you would like a bigger salary. It's actually pretty basic.

Dont sorry ts. When Conor keeps losing big fights from here on out, his draw will be non-existent and you wouldnt have to worry anymore.

Because they have to put up with his bullshit leading up to the fight.

Wow... It takes two ppl to have a fight.

What I'd like to see if a re-match does happen would be Conor in the blue corner. Red is reserved for the higher ranked fighter. And there is nothing more prestigious than being the Undisputed McGregor Weight World Champion. Just ask him.

Have a blue panty night Conor. You've earned it.
