Why didn’t the UFC hire Robin Black?

He came up with some incredibly long winded analysis on why Conor was for sure gonna KO Floyd

Never took him seriously after that

In fairness, according to Joe Rogan, Ronda Rousey was a mythical creature who could beat fully half of the UFC’s men’s bantamweight division...

Dana White said Ronda Rousey would not only beat Floyd in a Street fight, but also “hurt him badly”.

With respect, I’m not sure if being taken seriously is part of the UFC’s criteria.

Robin is a huge Conor fan boy, and seeing as the hardcore base hates Conor now, and Black picked Conor to beat May, he was then mercilessly mocked and ridiculed and became a whipping boy for the Conor hate and Aldo 13 second PTSD. By going full fan boy, he inadvertently became a very polarizing figure and was just too colorful and risky compared to Rogan lite, Jimmeh Smith. You either love Robin or hate him, and tho those in Ireland love him, "Irish only 6 million!". Jimmeh on the other hand, he is as vanilla as they come and everyone is really indifferent about him - he is Tim Kaine opposed to Robin's Bernie Sanders.

Rogan 2.0 got the job.

It's too bad that Rogan didn't have nuts and is afraid to have a real fight. He versus Jimmie would be epic. Heck, Robin even fought multiple times but Joe hasn't?! He rage on CM Punk for not being qualified enough but Joe toots his horn as if he is the ultimate martial artist ever, so why not just scrap?

After the connor thing he was dead to me. Like serious, the greatest boxer ever was going to get his ass knocked out by someone who just picked up the sport.

"If Conor could just reverse engineer his victory path, he could win this" or some glue minded shit.

He was on Rogan recently. I lasted 12 seconds and half of that was running across the room to turn it off

Schaub did as well and still has a career. It was the way Robin did it that makes him so unpalatable.

Maybe their production was just enough cringeworthy as it was

For months, there were numerous rumors that the UFC were gonna hire Robin Black. It never came to fruition.

Why didn’t UFC hire Robin Black?
I like him but his personality is a little too flavorful for TV

the guy from shallow hal?

He uses a thousand words to convey one simple point.
