I believe he could have earned the heavyweight belt back in 2015 against and also ko Werdum, Miocic and Velasquez

Strange decision, I liked his fighting style.

He's consistently overrated by Sherdog because of some flashy knockouts. Truth is, he's a glass cannon and a 1-trick pony as well. He would have had a much harder time at HW than LHW and just been in worse shape with worse cardio.

Seems when he came to UFC after that he wanted to try to chase Jones (all speculattion) And then when he came back recently the UFC didn't want him or he didn't like the offer (never read how he exactly ended up with Bellator so I don't know) but I'd have him doing okay against some of the top 10. Francis mercs him tho I'd watch the hell out of that.

I saw a Livestream he did around the time he was 'coming back, maybe at HW' and one of the first questions was

"Why don't you fight Francis?"

To which he immediately responded

"Why don't you fucking fight Francis?"

Glass cannon? Kinda a bad way to put it, bud. He's never been knocked out, and his lone TKO loss was to an eye poke. His cardio is usually bad, his submission defense is bad, but he's hardly made of glass.
