He would do it when he didn't want to look at the crowd or acknowledge the people asking questions. He did it a few times when he got triggered and had nothing to say back. He would put the mic down on the table and let go of it completely and look up instead of looking at the crowd. It's his way of ending the interaction and wanting to move on to the next question.

The whole coke this is a fanboy excuse for Conor’s losses. Coke or no coke, Conor loses because his fight game is one dimensional and his cardio is even worse, that’s it.

He looks up because he’s trying to give the impression of disinterest, and feign confidence.
