I don't get it.
Conor is excellent in getting in his opponent's heads and making them throw strategy out the window. His schtick makes his opponents underestimate him and makes them emotional. Even Alvarez said afterward that he was supposed to circle left and wrestle; not circle right and strike (I remember it being too obvious that he was going to lose once he started doing that.)
Diaz doesn't give a fuck which is why he was able to beat Conor in their first fight.
Bottom line, though is until people figure him out (when he's sober and off the coke,) it's not too hard to consider Conor the bset LW in the world (obviously Khabib is retired, so...)
Conor would Cub Swanson Oliveira inside a round, he basically has a "submitter's chance".
It's almost impossible to imagine any of the current 155 beating Conor right now other than Khabib. Everyone else is mostly a striker or won't have the ability to get Conor on the ground (Oliveira) or do much once there (Chandler).
Any MMA striker trying to to deal with Conor on the feet is a squash match. And before you bring up Diaz 2, it was only competitive because Conor gassed from using Nate's head as a punching bag for two rounds.
Who knows? He gassed in 2 rounds against Nate. That’s just not championship level endurance. That being said, I think I’ll be pulling for Conor. He’s just the most exciting guy in the game, IMO.Conor would Cub Swanson Oliveira inside a round, he basically has a "submitter's chance".

I'm sorry? Get what? OH... The "title" of the topic was changed lol was originally a typo buddy.I don't get it.
Why skip Nate 1? In that fight Conor did go for the kill and ended up getting his ass whipped. The second fight was Conor point fighting and he barely squeaked by.Conor would Cub Swanson Oliveira inside a round, he basically has a "submitter's chance".

yes i dont watch the sport im sorry i mispeled one letter im so exposed right now
Dustin outstruck max, eddie, justin, hooker pretty easily
Everybody know Dustin is mile away of Conor in stand up, Conor embarrased him at the first fight and will do it again
He is too fast, technical, accurate and powerful
Nobody can stop Conor now Khabib is gone
Maybe Oliveira can, but i don't think he is that good to avoid punch
LL Cool J mops the floor with McGregor.
Haha I came here to say thisThread was better before TS fixed the title. Deinitely should have left it as is.

I agree and also there is the added factor that he’s had losses in the UFC now, if you’re good enough there is a blueprint to beat him. Losing that air of invincibility will impact on his ability to intimidate and get in people’s heads.I do agree that the mind-games is Conor's greatest intangible strength, and it's contributed to a lot of his victories. However, an important factor to consider is they worked for him earlier in his career, before he got established in the UFC. Many fighters looked at Conor as a joke during his rise at 145lbs; that's one reason Mendes took a fight with him on a week's notice. Nowadays, after seeing the highlight reel Conor's built up of KOs over Mendes, Aldo, and Alvarez, I doubt most fighters look at him as a joke. Sure, I think he can still get in a lot of guys' heads, but I think most fighters are wise to it, now.
