It seems like they always looking for a way to throw cheap shots at the UFC.

It gets them attention. When they take a shot at Reebok, people talk about it. Can be petty at times but they got to do what they can to get noticed.

List all these cheap shots.

In the last like week they put in press release about Meathead being able to wear any shoes he wants.

Also about Stitch can wear any sponsors etc.

The first one could be considered a little more petty.

The stitch situation is solid pr for them.. I would do the same thing in this scenario. Business wise, the fact that bellator fighters have the ability to obtain sponsors no strings attached while UFC fighters can't could be considered a competitive advantage. Why not make the most of what you have in this type of situation.

I remember when Mark Hunt and Werdum were fighting for the interim HW title. Manhoef was fighting that same night at Bellator and they heavily emphasized the fact Manhoef was someone who "knocked out one of the contenders scheduled to fight for the Interim UFC HW title later tonight."

It was an obvioius jab that seemed force and out of place. Manhoef proceeded to get KO'd dead.

They kept showing the clip when Manhoef KO Hunt on another event. I think it was the UFC Japan fight card were Bellator had an event that same night. I mean it was kind of hilarious to me

It seems Bellator was using the old WCW / Eric Bischoff "Let's Run Down Our Competition's Main Event" playbook.

I'll take cheapshots over dada5000 vs kimbo any day of the week.

Dana use to carry a tombstone with the name of every organization the UFC crippled and acquired. That's classless, so I'm not shedding a tear because Bellator shows highlights of one of their fighters KOing a UFC fighter.

Probably because the UFC refuses to acknowledge their existence.

I don't think any tactic could be considered cheap when it's directed at an org run by Dana white
