Very much enjoyed the breakdown of the distance management.

The more i watch combat sports the more I realize how much it is a game of implementing the right tools for the range and controlling what range occurs in the fight.

I recently watched some Vicente luque fights when he was on a roll.

Then I watched the Geoff Neal fight and how you had the fighter with the right style and the right gameplan to beat him. It was at apex too so you could hear the corner belt out instructions to him and it was very interesting to see how a guy on a win streak got taken apart. Geoff's boxing, particular his piston jab, was breaking through the guard of luque and leading to the following right straight getting in and hitting paydirt.

Amazing breakdown why Leon's style is just perfectly fit to dismantle Belal's style. To add to this, not many people are talking about his age and layoff. He's 36 and last fought over a year ago in a fight where Burns was severely compromised. Belal could look totally different than people expect him to look.

To counter that, it's crazy to think that every fighter that Leon has fought since 2020 is 36 or older right now. I mean they weren't at the time, but it's looking like Leon is fighting guys at the end of their career. Nate>Usman 2x>Colby>now Belal. WW title fights need some younger blood in soon.
