Reem is clearly not 6'5"

Do they just not care?
Are they just taking everyone's word for it or measuring w shoes on?
Do they want their athletes to seem bigger and hide the smaller ones ?

Is it just not important because weight is the only thing they really need to measure ?
How hard is it to get a guy to take his shoes off and use one of those medical office things ?

Obligatory

Because ufc is one big WWE hype machine and the majority of fans buy into it. Why the fuck would you stop.

The stats are not official
But I hear you, somebody should be doing a better job.

Wish they would check height and measure reach backstage before weigh ins.

But its not that unheard for any sport to do this. NFL teams put whatever they want.

No.. they don't. They constantly criticize and critique players for the slightest measurement discrepancies... IE if a QB is listed 6'1" in college but measures 5'11" at combine he may slide down a ton of spots and lose out on millions.

UFC heights are a joke. UFC officially lists Rashad Evans at 6 foot, 6'0''. I have personally seen Rashad at UFC Fan Expo and he is 5'10'', he actually told us all.

Like WWE they want their roster to seem "larger than life".

What hype do you generate by doing this?

The guys seem huge. Same reason Arnold was claiming he was a 6'2" as a bodybuilder when many ppl say he's 6'. It just sounds more imposing like Reem being 6'5"

Yes they do. Teams have always pulled a Shane Carwin and lied about short players height and overweight players weight.

because you touch yourself at night

There's a weight limit in NFL so they have to be careful about too big lineman but other than that I think they just saw whatever they want about height and weight.

And no, you won't lose your draft spot if you lied about height, they just care about performance.

NFL drafts are based on performance not height. They don't care and they don't have height or weight regulations except linemen being too fat.

If a QB performs great at 5'11" (though theyre usually taller) they would not care. Name an example where this happened if you think its true.
