Percival should never be allowed to referee a fight again in his life.
Disgusting.

Perfect contrast in the main event and co main between competent officiating and horrible officiating. Not sure why some refs need to confirm brain damage before awarding a TKO....

I wish judges and refs were all held more accountable for the shitty jobs they do half the time. I'll just sit over here wishing....

Speaking of psychopaths, is Dan Miragliotta banned from being anywhere remotely close to an octagon yet?

At Hunt vs SIlva 1 in Brisbane, Steve Perceval stopped a fight a bit early and copped an ear bashing from the crowd. For the rest of the night he was extremely hesitant to stop fights and got booed every time his name was announced. Hunt Silva would've been stopped when Silva was ground n pounding him if it wasn't for the early stoppage earlier in the night. This is just another example, Steve Perceval didn't want to stop a fight early involving Hector in Australia.
Terrible job, nervous reffing, very dangerous.
Should be sacked.

"That's not a knife - this is a knife" mentality ?

Great ref, unless the guy is knocked out cold or he taps.. then the fights should never ever be stopped. this is ultimate fighting!. they should remove referees stoppages from the rules. its ruined millions of fights. see Herb would have stopped the fight in 1st round and Magny would have lost, but remove the ref.. and see what happens, Magny wins that fight.

Because there are so many blood lusting psychopathic fans, sadly.

And that somehow transfers for referees?
Yes. Regular stoppages are bashed for being 'early' and referees being human beings and human beings being highly impressionable creatures start to adjust their measurement for stoppages.
