Now not even 60% went to vote, which is ridiculous.

But still we see pictures like this one:

I personally have never encountered a queue when voting. Why is that? Is it because you do not vote on a Sunday and most come to vote either early in the morning or late? Or is it because there are not enough places where one can vote? It just seems ridiculous.

Because the people volunteering there are like 85 and take forever to get you signed in. Plus it's not Germany where people are robots and everything is efficient and sterile.

Cues are what actors wait on
Cues are what you use to strike a white pool ball
Queueuy or whatever is just some funny- talking- people, made up word

Talk right

Right then!

Form up in a proper queue - and the next thing you know: Bob's your uncle!

Some places have more people living there than other places.

I talk to this fella from Liverpoles or wherever, and he makes no sense at all, talking about having a "spot" of this or that there
Talking "I'm frightfully sorry..."
He likes a right pissed bird , which, hey , if feathers in your whisky is a thing over there, what the hell

My whisky is feather free and that's the way I like it , call me a Yank

Something I read but haven't confirmed is that several states changed their voting options after the Supreme Court struck down part of the Voting Rights Act. It resulted in far fewer voting locations. Some places went from 200 to 60.

The part that I haven't confirmed is that many of those states went from blue in 2012 to red in 2016.

Fewer voting locations primarily hurt the Democrat options or so it appears. If true, it means the Republicans spent a lot of time planning on winning elections by reducing the voter turnout of their opponents.

its not like its a food line you have to use everyday, so every couple years you have to make an effort, voting ought to be a little work

That's just a non-explanation. You just set up more voting places.
more places, less control, more corruption

voting is too easy, not too hard. you can vote by mail, vote early, vote absentee, vote on election day at your polling place

they need to eliminate options not add them

That is sad. I mean I personally would walk miles and swim through rivers to exercise my right to vote, but obviously you will get an effect with those considering whether to vote at all.

Reducing voting locations is almost criminal. You should make voting as easy as possible (except the ID thing - I fully am in the ID camp).

That aren't too difficult to get to, can be set up and monitored?
Community centers, churches, shit like that, not too many options

Yeah but these are exactly the places voting happens here, too.

You should seriously not vote on a week day imo - That is a tradition thing, no?
