Why are the Nordic countries so happy?

Why are Nordic men so happy? Gee, I've no idea...;)

First world nations with the smallest wealth inequality between classe. Rich are always happy but poor ain’t. Less poor iOS more morebhaopy

You have people that pretend everything is great and people that pretend everything sucks. They just lean more to the side that everything is great. Really though we all lay somewhere in between

Yeah, when taxes are put to good use it basically is. You'll feel rich at $100k instead of $10 million.
Average income is 60000 ish in dollars. So most people aren't rich by your definition, or very close. My tax rate would almost triple too. Gonna be a hard no for me, but is there a different country we want to go by maybe? I only looked up this one

But with your money that you are paying in taxes you are getting your value out of.

Their suicide rates suggest they might be blowing a little smoke up your ass about how happy they are.

Giants? were various mamoth and elephant species,

David and Goliath? Modern Human vs. Homo Erectus in a fight. Mixed with a story about the collapse of the bronze age.

The great flood? That was multiple events. The creation of the Mediteranean ocean, the creation of Black sea, and another time sea levels rose at the end of an ice age.

The four Horseman of the Apocolpse? The Yamnaya horse riding people of the Pontic Steppe taking over the world.

That's 6 separate 'end of the world' events just right there I described all verifiable by science.

As a species we've gone through this kind of shit over and over and the stories of it still survive till this day.

That's what we as a species are facing with this climate change shit as each of those 6 stories are connected to climate change events in the past.

You think humans were around when the Mediterranean Sea was formed?

You think humans were around when the Black and Mediterranean Sea were created?
Yeah, it wasn't even all that long ago.

I looked it up a while back.

If you start looking up the historical events the bible references you start realizing that it's just part of an extremely old oral tradition. The same with all sorts of fairy tales and such.

They layer stories so one story might be referencing the recent events, for the bible, then other events that are even older sometimes going back over 10,000 plus years. They combine elements of those different events into one story with a common sort of lesson, if you will, regarding those types of events.

It's the same with other old stories from other cultures too.

The four horseman of the apocalypse and the centaurs from greek mythology are talking about the same group of people for example.

EDIT: ok, not the mediteranean sea, I just looked it up, but the black sea yes. Same with a drastic level in sea rise that occurred at the end of the last ice age.

Look, I get it, you mention bible and people want to completely dismiss you. Look into it though. The events in history that science is revealing and then you see it. All of it is there and you can see why they tell the stories the way they do. Because history tends to repeat itself given enough time and then the new story just gets layered over the old one. Or the old ones just get woven into the new one.

Then once you can kind of see how they weave the stories you can relate it to other times in history with common elements and how people felt in that time about a particular thing and it shines a light back onto the older story.

How do you figure that? My insurance is a few hundred bucks a month and student loans were 500 a month. These numbers are not even in the same planet.

You can move to one of those nations and see that the system works.
