Based on what?. Jones is better than him at everything. And this time he actually is training full time instead of partying. Ring rust wont be a problem ive seen lots of fighters come back after long layoffs and still be just as good, and its not like jones has just been sitting on his ass eating chips hes been putting in work.

Also alot of talk about how DC has improved from fighting rumble and gus, he might look like he improved because he wasnt fighting jones. Once hes in the octagon with jones it will be the same thing as last time maybe even worse. Just thought id share that sherbros.

Jones adding extra weight, long layoff. Why the fuck wouldn't we think so.

DC beating Rumble and Gus, too very large fighters with massive reach.

DC would have beat them before also. And jones will cut down to 205 so he wont be that big, layoffs dont always effect fighters unless they dont train during the layoff.

Timing and hes had plenty of time now to strategize.

With that said he aint got a snowballs chance in hell.

So, that wasn't the question. I'm answering your question. I listed why some people may think this.

I think Jones will win but maybe because of the long layoff and DC has been active.

I don't like either guy, but it's totally plausible that DC has a better chance given all the unknown variables with Jones.

C'mon man...

SImple logic really

He has fought him once and now has a much better idea of what to expect. Experience counts for a lot.

I'm picking Jones by destruction though lol

I want DC to win, but I really don't think he will. His best tool against Jon was going to be his movement and that seems to have disappeared after the Roy Nelson fight.

I can't help but wonder if his knee problems are just getting to be too much. He seems slower and less sturdy than he was just a couple years ago. He's also gotten mixed up in the drama and it doesn't seem to do him any good.

I expect Jon finishes him in R2-R3 this time.

DC:

- Fought & beat both Rumble and Gus. Legit title defenses while staying active.
- Perfected the takedown of a tall man. DC will take Jon down this time.
- Knows what he did wrong the first fight and will capitalize from those mistakes.
- Will have the champion sway from the judges if its close.

Jon Jones:
- has more muscle and less stamina
- ring rust
- susceptible to body strikes
- changed his body style and doesnt know it well yer

Jones has been out for a while now. DC has been active and probably growing.

Age... Injuries...are catching up to him it seems..
I always found him noticeably less explosive since he went to LHW, obviously a lot less strong than the 250lbs SF version, but surprisingly he even lost some speed despite losing weight...
Can't do him any good...

1. First fight was competitive

2. Ring Rust affects everyone except Dominic Cruz

3. DC has been leveling up against Rumble and Gustafsson, aka the other 2 Kings of the 4 Kings of 205.

I hope for DC, but I think Jon is too much in his head.

Rampage said that Jones is the type of fighter that you have to fight twice

Jones ragdolled that fat little troll and made him cry like a baby back biatch. DC didn't have shit then and doesn't have shit now.Nothing has changed. Jones already beat Gus and will steamroll Johnson with ease. Jones is GOAT

I don't think DC will have the "Will have the champion sway from the judges if its close" advantage. I believe that if it is close, the judges will give it to Jones.
