Why are so many UFC fans so threatened by Fedor’s GOAT status?

HW is the most instable weight class there is, and Fedor was at the top for 10 years. Name another HW who has even been at the top for 5.
Coincidentally thats when GSP left (after encountering unprecedented difficulty), Jones left (after encountering unprecedented difficulty), and Khabib never even got close... and they were in divisions that are historically easier to stay at the top.

I say this as someone who highly respects Khabib and GSP. They are awesome. Fedor was just a little bit better than GSP, and a lot more proven than Khabib. Jones would be the GOAT if not for his failed tests against opponents who (mostly) consistently tested clean.
 
Because they never seen him in real time, meaning they're a new generation . I get it. I'm the same with other sports. But definitely Fedor is on the mount Rushmore of mma

Because I believe Jones to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time and Fedor to not even be top 5.

UFC fans view the UFC as the majors and consider Pride the minors, pretty straight forward.

The reality is that while Fedor fought some great opponents he also fought some crap ones. Not his fault but that is the reality. Just like all of sudden Izzy is a greater fighter than Silva....Fedor was amazing for his time, period. This concept of GOAT is stupid because you can't time travel to prove it is real.
 
his record is padded and he was past his prime when he left pride. a lot of people didn't see him at the top of his game. but yes, not fighting in the ufc is also a ding for most people.
