Maybe it has something to do with international fight week. The UFC is putting on a Thursday and Friday card, leading up to 200 Saturday night. In one week you'll have the LW title, women's SW title, women's BW title, FW interim title and LHW title all on the line. Plus two ultimate fighter finals and at 200 you have 4 former champions fighting outside of those three title fights. International fight week will feature 5 belts on the line and 11 fighters who are either champions or former champions. What I'm saying is the UFC is going really big in July, that's what the fuck is going on.

Are they taking time off for the Olympics? I know they used to have an anemic schedule in March because of the Madness, and usually had some big cards in April and February to compensate.
