Why are gay guys so good looking?

Gay lives matter!

Truthfully I am aware of that concept that gays are usually good looking but honestly, but have never found it to be true. I’d say it’s even. But I have some theories on the matter :
1) there are way less gays than straight guys so not that many to compare.
2) it may be psychological - being good looking enough and unavailable because of different orientation may be attractive for women.
3) It’s more common for gay guys to work out and groom
4) Behaviour and body language/expression may play a factor too. It’s an interesting energy I’d say, more unique probably than the average Joe and it may be appealing for lots of women and probably some guys too.

personally, I was repulsed by many of the gay guys I saw/met in my life because of the exaggerated persona and the fakeness. You know what I’m talking about... the overly annoying voice and exaggerated body language acting as if they are these super models and the hottest shit ever. (Obviously not all gays are like that)

My cousin is gay and was always flamboyant and into fashion even as a kid.

I figured this would be like asking a question about how women think. Can rationalize all we want but they’re just built different.

My gay friends range from ugly & unfit to average & fit to handsome & fit as fuck.
Bi dudes I know are all handsome & fit as fuck. They're all good dudes though.

The lesbians I know range from ugly & frumpy to average & average fitness at best. Bi women I know are average & fit to gorgeous & fit.

They've all come to a consensus and have said I'd be a "daddy bear" if I were gay.

I have seen a pretty wide variety in how gay guys look. Seen plenty of fat ones, plenty of “bears”, twinks, average ones, ugly ones, and good looking guys who take care of themselves. One of the guys I used to work with who is what I would consider good looking was overweight about 7-8 years ago. Lost a bunch of weight and other than that, just takes care of himself.

I don't know necessarily there better looking per se. But they do seem more approachable, happy, affable, flamboyant types. And they do try to make themselves look better though, not the sloppy just out of your bed look some people do.
