1) Everyone knows of this Conor guy because of his loud mouth and promotional abilities. That is what got Conor where he is today.
2) His loss to Diaz diminished his value.
3) Not agreeing to do promo's for a fight you begged for and are obsessed with will drop his value and ability to negotiate huge paydays even further.
4) Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

UFC wins. There will be another Conor, we just don't know when.
 
This reminds me of that other fighter who was really hyped up by UFC , then his negotiations fell thru & he left ( you know the guy ) , remember him ?

I'd be ok if they added the fight back to that card but just not in a main event slot.

As long as the winner b/w Aldo and Frankie is GUARANTEED a title shot vs Conor.

Without ufc
Conor is on some regional show
Without ufc Conor wouldn't be a "thing"
There's plenty talent that doesn't get discovered in all sports
