Who's your NBA MVP? ***UPDATE: Poll Added***

Oh snap, Hardgoat's been figured out. Since it's so easy to guard him, he and his team will surely be tanking.

Let me check: still neck-and-neck with Westbrook for the scoring title, Rockets with the 3rd-best record in NBA despite being without Howard for like 2 months.

Keep trying, fellas.

Nobody even wants ot mention his D this season. had a key block today in the 4th on a 3. He's been above average the vast majority of the year

Well I can't really take credit for figuring him out, I do watch the playoffs afterall

Harden 2013 playoffs: 19.2 fga/gm on .391%

Harden 2014 playoffs: 22.2 fga/gm on .376%

LMAO

What do those things have to do with 2014/15 regular season mvp?

I was discussing how to defend Hardcan. It's always been displayed in the playoffs

Seems like nba is full can players and can coaches if they already have the plan all set yet aren't doing anything about it all this season

I posted multiple vids of it happening all throughout this season

Anyways there's a huge difference between the reg season and playoffs when you actually have time to scout and prep for opponents

Breakout seasons, how do they work?

NBA history is filled with big scorers who struggle to find their rhythm in the playoffs for a few years until they hit their very peak and smirch everyone. There's also a lot that don't ever hit that peak and never get to be "great."

But all signs are pointing to Hardgoat making the leap. Serious MVP talk, on pace to tie his team's regular-season win mark, strong cast around him.

Have those excuses ready, though.

So you agree he's a viable REGULAR season mvp candidate

I'm just waiting for the playoffs. If Harden has a repeat of last seasons playoffs then I think its settled, he's not the kind of player that can be the #1 option on a contending team and therefore not a legitimate MVP in my opinion. Maybe he makes me eat my words this year but I wouldn't count on it.

On the surface he is. But I don't consider him one of the best players in the game. You watch him play and you realize he's pretty limited and is very dependent on the refs.

Agreed. I think ultimately the MVP should go to the best player and the best player is someone who helps lead their team to a championship and can perform in the playoffs. If Harden can't do that then he is just a guy who can put up good numbers in the regular season and not much else.

Well technically it's a reg season award, which is kinda dumb since most people associate MVP with best player in the game

Regardless Steph Curry has been a better reg season player than Hardcan this year

I get it, its a regular season MVP award. But it doesn't really mean much if they don't give it to actual best player in the game, at least in my opinion.

I agree. They should just officially chance it to season MVP, since guys who don't make the playoffs are never even considered for it anyways

Couple days behind on the reading but my main man One True absolutely castrated my main guy Fuss.
