Edson just collected the best win of his career tonight against former champion Anthony Pettis. Edson would need to put together a better streak before challenging for the title, who makes sense for him on the way there?

Nate Diaz
Michael Chiesa
Donald Cerrone II

would be my personal choices.

I think Nate Diaz,

Casuals will tune in for Nate Diaz at 200, and Barboza brings exciting fights

Barboza vs Khabib?

Non-casuals aren't Diaz fans?

Not what I meant,

I am a big Barboza fan and a lot of eyes are on Nate right now, I would like to see him vs Nate because it is a fight I think he would win and would get a lot of exposure from and probably get a title shot.

Khabib would make sense with the winner getting a title fight. Loser of Alvarez/Dos Anjos would be okay. Lots of the guys ahead of him would be (IMO needless) rematches. Chiesa would be good despite being lower ranked than Pettis; he could still fight for the belt or in a title eliminator with a win, since Chiesa just beat a top 10 guy too.

If he won, TS for sure

Chiesa is fresh off a very impressive win over Dariush. Khabib should be next in line for TS after Alvarez IMO.
