With Conor set to face Diaz again, someone that I cant see him beating, and therefore possibly set to record his second straight loss. It got me thinking about a few individuals who have had a great fall from grace so to speak. Houston Alexander, Thiago Alves, Anthony Pettis, Tyson Griffin just to name a few.... Who else has enjoyed a meteoric rise only to fall badly once they reached near the top of their divisions?

Chuck's fall from grace was absolutely brutal.

Barão if he loses his next fight

Ronda Rousey
Brock Lesnar
Anthony Pettis
Gray Maynard
Tim Sylvia
Johnny Hendricks

Depending on how Anderson Silva does in his next couple fights, he may need to be on the list.

My dude Pettis I think RDA broke him, he hasn't been the same. I don't know wtf is wrong with him these days but he looked gun shy vs Barboza.

I don't think we should really count guys who just got old.

Miguel Torres. He was once considered P4P #1 the best fighter in the world, up there amidst hushed whispers with Fedor.

Now, nobody even remembered to mention him here except for me.

Thiago Silva. He was never the same after the machida fight.

And gray maynard

I think nobody has the fall like Anderson Silva, especially after failing a drug test.

Sad, Silva was my guy. He was unbeatable at one point.

Yeah. His fall is hard for me. He has been my favorite fighter since I was 16. I've wanted to see him retire since after he beat Sonnen at 148

Remember when he signed a 10 fight deal and Dana White almost bust a nut? I was actually against that idea because I knew that his fall was inevitable. Haa.

How do you feel about Pettis going to 145lbs?

Ken Shamrock's downfall since 2000 has been pretty bad...and still trending downward. lol

How has nobody mentioned Anderson Silva from GOAT to GATE-keeper.
Then I would say Chuck Liddell. Pettis is doing pretty well for himself as well.
