This low-IQ, over-the-top rhetoric has infected the sport. I'm all for trash talk, but what these guys are doing isn't trash talk. It's not witty, it's not funny, and it makes the mma community look like a bunch of deplorables. I don't appreciate some of the things DDP has said, either, but he's clearly the lesser of two evils here.

25% of me wants Strickland to win, but 75% of me wants du Plessis to win, because he's more dynamic, better -looking, and displays more of a "Championship vibe" than the disgruntled, prepubescent Strickland.

Strickland loses fans with every interview; du Plessis makes fans with every interview.

Though, I think Strickland handled himself well in the press conference and I have far less animosity towards him for some of the earlier drama with the whole childhood thing, still I think Dricus is a very exciting and dynamic fighter with a very charismatic and intelligent personality. I always enjoy watching his interviews and he comes across as a genuine person and carries himself well so yeah, I favor Dricus.
