Certainly not RDA. Not that he can't win that fight. But it doesn't make sense with him having lost to Nate. I want the Nate rematch down the line, but I don't see an urgent need for it now. He needs to defend his title. And Edgar makes more sense than Aldo.

I don't see Conor winning that battle but if he does and he does it impressively then all his shine returns and he really puts a stamp on FW. Another defence against Aldo and Holloway and the division is basically cleared out. Edgar will be a far greater challenge though, possibly worse than Nate.

Frankie or Aldo but I'd prefer Frankie just because he's beat Mendes, Faber, Swanson, Oliveria and Penn in a row.

I still think Aldo needs some more time away to recover from the KO cause both mentally and physically he might not be 100% ready.

After losing to a lightweight gatekeeper and now having not done "everything he said he would" according to Dana White he should definitely be forced to clear out his division before getting another title shot. Dos Anjos/Lightweight champ shouldn't be an option until he's able to beat Edgar, Aldo, Holloway, and maybe even a couple of Lamas/Swanson/Mendes or Barao if he moves up. He should now be treated like any other fighter and have to clean out his division or vacate his title before moving up. McGregor's got great hands but he's got no ground game and has shown to wilt under adversity, personally i see Edgar as being too good of a boxer with too good of a ground game and heart and chin for him to beat. Hopefully the UFC gives him his due and he gets the next shot with Aldo getting a tune up fight and the next one after that. The guy has beaten two high level guys and a young Holloway, while losing to Nate fucking Diaz, that's not the kind of guy who should be getting shots at holding multiple titles any time soon.

Even if he beats Edgar and Aldo, I don't think he should be able to go straight to RDA after losing to Diaz. He needs to fight some good guys at LW to prove that he can hang in that weight class.
