Who would win Oliveira Ortega?

Olivera would absolutely murder him. After the way Oli dismanted Ferguson, it's a no brainer.

Are you sure? They have a lot of common opponents and it doesn’t look good for Oliviera. Ortega beat both Frankie and Cub to whom Oliviera has lost. One win against Tony has made Oliviera very overrated here

I agree. Like I was never impressed by Do Bronx's striking. Seeing Ortega make a masterful striker like Zombie look lost really showed me that he would do better on the feet. Oliveira's best striking showings are against Lee and Ferguson, two fighters who use pressure to mask underdeveloped striking

But is he really though? I mean looking at their resumes, Ortega's wins over Frankie Edgar and Zombie both suggest he is the better striker. Remember, Zombie was a masterful striker who beat Moicano, Edgar and almost defeated Yair Rodriguez. And Ortega made him look lost. On the ground Do Bronx is probably better but Ortega would definitely be the most skilled grapper he grappled against

I agree.

Ortega showed incredible Gameness against Holloway.
Olivera has repeatedly-quit against game opposition.

Olivera has the advantage of experience, size, and (importantly) GRAPPLING.

This puts Ortega at a disadvantage, because his specialty is Olivera's specialty also, and Olivera has more time, experience, and fights under his belt than does Ortega.

It's not an easy fight to call, but I think I would favor Olivera when all is said and done. I don't think Ortega can match him in the trenches, experience -wise.
 
Not sure who wouldd win but Id watch. Think Id be rooting for Olivera though.
 
Ortega kills Charles.

It wouldn’t be a close fight at all.
 
Oliveira. Ortega usually looks tremendously beatable until the last two or three minutes of the fight.
 
Ortega would outclass and humiliate him with relative ease

Beating the ghost of Tony who received one of the worst beatings ever seen in his previous fight, means nothing.
 
Oliveira's the stronger of the 2 now. If Oliveira was still at FW, that'd be fireworks indeed.

They have a pretty compareable resume with Charles beating Lee and Ferguson. The thing with most of Ortegas wins too is that he was losing a lot of them. Like Guida & Moicano, he was pretty much out of it, but pulled it out in the very end.
Edgar and KZ fair play too.
Also feel like Oliveiras size and range would also be a big factor.
 
Ortega has better hands Olivera MIGHT be the better strike overall, but Ortega has better chin as well I think he could take it
