Let's give Luke the Holly Holm treatment and give him the #9 ranked fighter after losing the belt.

Call me crazy or insane or whatever, but i'd put my money on Lombard in this.

You need good headmovement or an incredible chin to beat Hector. Luke got neither. Book it UFC please.

Lombard has a mandatory 6 month medical suspension. Well deserved between the Henbow and Magny hitting him 200 times while Hector was gassed out of his mind.

Lombard was once next in line for the next WW titleshot. He was ranked #3. Manhandling Shields is a feat.

It's not like the "top guys" are had easy fights with him even though he lost. Appreciate the brutality.

His best work was in Bellator. He hasn't done anything remotely impressive since being in the UFC. Jake Shields? Really? Yeah, and Hector was on his way to a title shot until cardio KO'd him.

Let him test Luke "i got koed by Bisping" Rockhold's toughness.

This would be a great fight, and would put my man Lombard right back on the map.
 
I'm not sure if Lombard's short arms can reach Luke's chin.

Yeah Jake Shields. The guy that outgrappled Maia in Brazil.

I agree that Hector's cardio sucks. It's all about if his opponent can survive until gassing time arrives.

I just don't believe Luke would.

Shields was extremely overrated IMO. So Lombard beating him doesn't give me much. Rockhold's length would be a big problem for Lombard.

Hector isn't even ranked @ MW and just got sent to the afterlife by the #13 guy
 
I hate Lombard so yeah let's throw him in there with Luke

We'll probably never have to hear from him again after that
