Who Wins this Fight? No Points - Ref decision

Hi,

Curious to get opinions on who you all think won this fight. I wont say anything so I don't sound bias then will tell you who the referee selected as the winner...

yeah lol sorry not the most exciting fight...

so you watched all the way.... thoughts? girl that pulled guard or girl on top?

Neither of them really did much. The girl on the bottom tried a few sweeps that didn't work, but on the other hand she held the other girl in guard.

The girl on top didn't make much of an effort to actually pass guard but had a solid enough base to defend the few sweep attempts.

I've never been to a competition and I've only been doing BJJ two months so there's obviously a lot more going on that I didn't spot. I couldn't pick a winner from that.

Honestly the ref is in a no win situation there. But I would have picked the girl on bottom and no matter what 1/2 the people would think I'm wrong and the other 1/2 right.

I would normally go with the person on top if things are pretty even, I consider top an advantage.

These 2 were pretty even. I would choose the top player but can easily see an argument for the bottom player. She seemed a little more active.
