Not booked, but this is the fight I want so see

2 years ago Khabib won, but RDA has evolved so much..

On the other hand, Khabib´s stand up is so shitty..

In the grappling dept I would still favour Khabib, but RDA would win the striking exchanges

What do you think, sherdog?

RDA is a beast and I think he will hit first and hit hard and get the win in the rematch.

Tough to say- yes RDA is a significantly better, more diverse striker- but he had that distinction in the first fight too and Khabib rendered that fact meaningless. In fact, it's been a while, but I think because Khabib had so much of a takedown threat, he was winning the few standup exchanges too as RDA was so consumed with having to try to counteract Khabib's grappling.

RDA has more assets but Khabib has an overall skillset that makes him very hard to deal with and tough to beat.

RDA wins. Especially in a 5 round fight.

This is the critical factor I think. RDA showed in the Pettis fight some of the most scary conditioning I've seen. Khabib's style is reliant on his expert grappling and physical strength and to ragdoll someone over the course of 25 minutes is not easy, particularly when the champ is someone who will be looking to scramble each time he is taken down.

This is tough. RDA is so much better and he is not the same guy. I don't think the Khabib fight showed us anything different. Can he do that to an elite fighter after the layoff? This is the fight to make though. Hard to say either will lose. I had RDA over Conor and that never came to pass. I hope the UFC gets this one right and makes this the fight.

Yep, I agree completely. RDA has the stand up edge, and is so good on the ground that Khabib would have to use a lot of energy to control him. I don't think Khabib could do that, as well as dodge bullets for 5 rounds. RDA will get stronger as the fight goes on, and Khabib will fade.

The only way RDA loses is if Khabib gets him down early, pins him & pounds him out (which I cannot see happening)

It's going to be the same fight. RDA getting manhandled on the ground. He won't be able to let off big shots because he'll have to defend takedowns.

Khabib will be injured for his next 3 fights as usual so the correct answer is... who gives a shit?

RDA's wrestling is also a good asset. Khabib's better, but still RDA is going to be very hard to beat.....even by Khabib......

I think the upcoming RDA fight will give you the answers you seek as Alvarez is almost most certainly going to try and wrestle-fuck him for 5 rounds.

I think Khabib wins, even though RDA would probably make it alot harder this time.

I think Khabib wins again in much the same fashion. I don't believe that a late 20'ies fighter can improve as much as some here think RDA has. He might well make the fight harder, but his strength is going forward and bully opponents which makes Khabib a terrible matchup for him.

RDA is most overrated champ besides Conor. Any of the top 5 can beat him. I'd give Khabib 60/40
