WHO WINS (Ikram Aliskerov vs. Khamzat Chimaev)?

And from what I can recall, after spending himself trying to keep Pereira down (and failing), Pereira got up and poll-axked the dude with a flying switch knee.

Which is pretty much my point, these little guys are not to be able to keep Pereira down.

Even former 205 LHW Champ, Jan Błachowicz, couldn't keep Pereira down for more than a round. Jan survived Pereira, but he was almost put away in the second.

These little guys are not going to take Alex' punches like the much larger Jan could.

Chimaev could almost definitely take Pereira down and keep him down. he is a far better and more explosive grappler than Blachowicz

comparing Chimaev to Blachwicz is just dishonest. the way Chimaev shoots for his takedowns is completely different

Conversely, comparing the short-winded, chicken-boned, tiny guy ... the 170-185lb Chimaev ... to the thicker, stronger, "Polish Power" 205-lb Jan Błachowicz is even more dishonest.

Yet Chimaev did good against the older, midget WW Usman — but he was getting pieced up in the second round, and the third round.

Your dumb ass and think what you want.

There is no way Khamzat Chimaev can keep Pereira down all fight. He is not a big enough man.

Cumshot either catches Alex early, or he gets the living shit beaten out of him, by the second round+.

Period.

Chimaev certainly is a big enough man to shoot and take Pereira down and potentially submit him.

but i agree if Pereira can weather the initial onslaught, Pereira likely gets him out of there

I see your point as well, so ultimately we concur.

Every human is one punch away from losing to Alex Pereira.

Heavyweights included.

He is not without flaws and he can be beaten, but one clean left hook or right hand or knee is smelling salts time.

They've got a rivalry. Aliskerov hasn't lost since Chimaev beat him and has looked damn good. Lol at "rankings" meaning anything. Ask DDP.

There's no rivalry, they haven't even had a Twitter exchange.

poatan got outgrappled by Israel. Khamzat strangles him quickly.

he was able to keep pereira down until the horn sounded though lol

And then after the bell, with a new round started, Pereira KO'd both of them.

The only one who survived was Jan — and Jan only survived because it was a 3-rounder.

which is great, until you can’t do that. there’s nothing about khamzat’s style that makes me believe he would really even get touched clean by pereira, let alone KO’d. he’s much faster than alex, more athletic, and better everywhere except pure striking. he’s also not gonna back up against the cage and wait like everyone alex fights lol

What rivalry? Khamzat beat him outside of the UFC.

You are making stuff up now. DDP took 3 years to climb up the rankings.

And Alex is longer, stronger, bigger boned, and 1000x more experienced in pacing himself in a fight.

LOL, that Khamzat won't back up. He was backing up to the midget Usman in Rounds 2 and 3, from punches that are nowhere near as hard as what Alex throws.

The second Chimaev gets "a little windy" Pereira is going to tag Khamzat harder than he has ever been tagged before in his life.

Trust me, that skinny dribble chinned Chechen will "back up" when he realizes he is in over his head.

pereira gassed out against jan and bruno lol he’s also faced literally zero fighters so far in the ufc with a grappling background.

In your idiotic daydreams.

Pereira was coming on and almost KO'd Bruno — who literally collapsed putting his nose back together.

Pereira was coming on and piecing Jan up — Jan's the one who gassed.

For that matter, is is the one who gassed in their first fight, and Pereira came on and finished his ass in the 5th.

You literally don't know WTH you're looking at.

Chimaev would absolutely manhandle Alex on the ground. He would toss him around the cage and toss his salad. Easy work.

Decisioning a geriatric after he got knocked out dead by Izzy doesn’t make Alex able to survive a khamzat wrestle and grapple rape.

khamzat has only gone the distance twice in his career. Your saying based on a very small past sample that Alex is hard to keep down, SMH.

here’s a fact: Kamaru Usman had the best defensive wrestling stats in ufc history! Yet khamzat made him look like a noob wrestler or kickboxing import. Imagine what he will do to an actual kickboxing import who is also getting up there in age
