Who will Hillary pick as VP? What about Bernie and what if he accepts?

I wouldn't mind seeing this ticket. Thought?

Bernie is a good guy and not a conspiracy theorist. So I do wonder how some of his fans who are so strongly anti-Hillary would react. I have seen and heard some Sanders fans say only Sanders knows what he is talking about and that they would rather vote GOP then Hillary.

So if Sanders knows what he is talking about and his word is the gospel what happens if he endorses Hillary let alone campaigns for her? What if he becomes her running mate?

How will people rationalize Sanders behavior then? Will they claim to know more then him or that he sold out?

I think a Bernie Hillary ticket would be interesting. And if not that then Bernie in some role in the Clinton Administration could be nice to see.

^^^ Rolling Stone argues Julian Castro or Bernie. I also wouldn't mind John Kerry, Martin O' Malley, Joe Lieberman, Andrew Cuomo, Wesley Clark,.

That would be extremely unlikely.

Should Hillary be the nominee, I'll vote for her unless the polls show her winning in a definite landslide. In that case, I'll go Green Party. Sanders being VP would not change that.

I see Hillary tapping a young establishment Democrat who will immediately become the brightest rising star in the party due to that selection alone (think of Palin's meteoric rise with the Tea Party).

A little consistency on what makes a thread dump material, and what doesn't, would be appreciated man.

Like who? You make a good point man.

But other then that Castro guy I don't know who. Personally my guess was she'd pick an old school 90s Democrat who may have been out of office for a few years. Someone to specialize on projects as Biden did.

She won't let Sanders anywhere near her neo-liberal agenda.

I could see her picking O'Malley.

What is unlikely that he will endorse her? I'd argue that there is a strong possibility he will endorse her and even campaign for her. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in her cabinet somewhere.

How do you know? Can you read minds? Are you Bernie and you know how he will react or what he thinks about Clinton other then the positive things he says about her?

Won't be Bernie. I'd put money on Cory Booker or Julian Castro or someone along those lines.

Think - Corey Booker... guy's a rhodes scholar, super well put together and really, really well liked. He also has the obvious appeal of being young and somewhat of an outsider/not your typical Capitol Hill suit and tie walking around.

Nancy Pelosi would be the best choice and it's not even close.

Is she allowed to pick bill?

I guess not, since if she resigned he would be pres and has already served two terms .... That would be awesome tho

These would be my guesses.

It is going to be someone young. Someone they can put front and center over the next 8 years or so to basically build the party around.

There really is no reason for her to pick Bernie. He has already done what he needed to do, and moved her more to the left. He unfortunately does not bring much to the table. He would not help her flip a swing state, and he would more than likely not sway any of the late undecided voters.

Castro being the VP is a "do-or-die" all in attempt to take Florida. He won't get her much else (If he can even deliver Florida).

or Bernie
His stance on gun rights was actually acceptable to me before he caved in, and adopted his parties official position over his own. Before that, Bernie was one of my favorite democrats (that and watching him and Rand Paul go back and forth in the Senate was always classic).

I also wouldn't mind John Kerry
My wife is a nurse. She is absolutely convinced that John Kerry had a stroke shortly before the Obama administration attempted war with Syria. In all of the Senate hearings, my wife noted that his mouth was moving like most of the stroke victims she treats, his face was also very bloated, not botox bloated, but retaining serious water bloated (another possible sign of stroke). You may want to look elsewhere for your candidate, after the Obama administration is out of power, I suspect John Kerry will be "spending time with his family" aka healing.

Martin O' Malley,
For all 7 votes he would bring.......

Joe Lieberman,
I believe Joe is an independent now, the democrats turned on him in his home state if I recall correctly.

Andrew Cuomo,
If you want to see the NRA come out in full force, get as much money as possible from every donar, and inform every republican alive that this election is THE election where your 2nd Amendment rights actually are at stake, then go ahead and give Andrew "I never saw a gun control law I didn't like" Cuomo the VP slot.

Also kiss the southern and Midwestern states goodbye.

Wesley Clark,.
The dems should have run Wesley in 2004 if they were going to go with the whole "I served in the military, George W. Bush is the wrong commander in chief" angle. Kerry had too politicized a history with the military to effectively play that card.

Despite some of the wacky shit he says sometimes (may have said something in his past that would turn off alot of voters, Dems will have to scrub through his record) he wouldn't be a half bad choice.

He would help cut into Trumps unusually high polling numbers with African American voters.

It's gonna be Castro. He's already endorsed by the Hispanic caucus and is in "VP training camp" according to reports.
