Doink was awesome until they changed him. They should have kept him as the psychotic evil clown instead of the cheesy dork
Eugene?
This is precisely why I made this thread.Ironically, Nick Dinsmore and Matt Borne were both phenomenal workers.
They found themselves in a remarkably similar situation: top mat technicians who were given outlandish gimmicks. Credit to both men, they overachieved in those roles. Both characters were a hit and are remembered many years later.
As wrestlers I feel like the original Doink (Matt Borne) and Nick Dinsmore were in the upper echelon of technical wrestlers, like if Bret Hart is an A then these guys are a B+ minimum.Evil Doink vs. Undertaker would've been fucking money.
Eugene was just stupid and awful
I agree, also really liked the promo with Eugene and the Rock. The dynamic of stuffy William regal and Eugene was pretty fkn good. Sorry.
Wut? It is dumb for fans of wrestling to discuss who the better wrestler was between two wrestlers? If that is off the table, what are we supposed to talk about? Their sex lives? Their boots?I've been seeing a lot of dumbass 'who was the better wrestler' comparisons here lately so let me pose this question to you Shertards.
Who was the greater wrestler? Eugene or Doink the Clown?
