Who was the better heavyweight striker between Overeem and Cro Cop?

Reem, had more longevity and overall better career despite the occasional ko/tko loss. Cro Cop was pretty much done after Gonzaga. Reem came back time and time again to win, even changing his game entirely later on in his career which shows high fight IQ.
 
Cro Cop.

Reem had better longevity in the UFC, where his best accomplishments are probably beating Brock, losing to Stipe in a title fight, beating post Cain and Stipe 1 JDS and beating Pavlovich. The rest of it like beating Sakai's, Harris', super old Oleinik's etc. is not really that impressive and is at best on par with some of Mirko's last couple of wins in his 10 fight win streak like King Mo, Nelson or Gonzaga.

But anything before that is Mirko. Reem's titles cannot compare with Mirko's except for maybe K-1 which is a different sport, and over there Mirko did much more overall.

But both obviously had great and long careers and fought tons of great fighters, I just think Mirko succeded in achieving more.
 
96-2002 K1 Crocop - when he was just a juiced up middle weight, not a fat heavy weight - was amazing.
 
Roided Reem was a unstoppable force. DEADLY Knees.

CC back in the day was a killing machine. DEADLY LHK.

I would say its too hard to call, perhaps a SLIGHT edge to CC

Reem’s defense needed some serious work and at times he just threw wildly with anything. CC had the more basic weapons but opponents seemed puzzled by the fundamentals of his game.

That's true, Reem had quite big oscillations, at times he looked like some amateur, and the other times like a world-beater. On the other hand, CC always seemed much more stable. Sure, he did have some unnecessary losses like Schaub, but overall he kept his composure.

He would get ko'd and just come back like aint nothin happen. Whereas Mirko was never the same after the gonzaga loss...Reem did look bad in that last fight with Ubervolkov though. Then he came back as an almost Sapp-esque Ubereem behemoth against Badr Hari. But Glory wasnt havin none of his mexican supplements schenanigans. Still,they had to know. Oh well the fans cant give their ppv buys back lolz

Like Hari is the posterboy of nattiness. Lol And so many other kickboxers that are currently active. It feels a bit like there might be some politics going on behind the drug test results in Glory.

Well Badr already got caught more than once,so i think he just got off em. He def was smaller than when he was before.
