Who should mousasi fight next?

I agree with everything you wrote. I don't think he is a top level fighter or ever was. He has always been overrated IMO. Good but not as great as everyone makes him out to be. btw what do you mean by "you scrub" I scrubbed my sink today if that's what you mean.

Yes I was referring to your sink work today. Nice work :P

Mousasi has the tools to be great, he just needs to put it together with game-plans, a real camp, and a drive to be the best. He still goes into fights like they're just a test of his skills, not like he's trying to win and be champion.

No he's not as complete a striker as Machida. No he's not as accomplished a grappler as Jacare. But those two are two of the very best at their disciplines, so losing to them doesn't mean you suck and should fight old retired guys in Bellator like you said.

I believe he possesses the tools but he is 30 and probably will never change his camp so he really is just wasting his talents and probably will be past up by younger guys pretty soon.

btw the sink is spotless

You can't say that he'll never do something. He is only 29, still young compared to a lot of guys in this sport including the top guys in his division like Belfort, Machida, and even Jacare. If he devoted himself to his TDD and grappling, you don't think he could be top 3 in the division by the time he's 33-34? I do. He just needs some motivation to move half way around the world, leave everyone and everything he knows behind, and train at a real camp.

Yeah he is still young compared to Jacare who really improved his stand up in his 30's. Machida has always been great at just about everything(he has obviously got better with time but has not needed to change anything) Belfort, well Moose has to risk his career and license to get where he is. You said he needs motivation, that's something that you just don't get, if he doesn't have it by 30 he probably never will. As far as him moving camps, he seems to be the type that just settles and refuses to move. The motivation and camp thing reminds me of BJ.

Yeah BJ is a perfect example of where Mousasi is. He's had so much success just training and sparring locally that now it's hard for him to adjust or make that big change he needs. I think Fedor is another great example.

But we've seen guys make big changes, uproot themselves and their families and move so they can train with elite coaches and training partners, and we've seen the success it's brought them. Jacare is a great example of this. His striking was non-existent just a couple years ago, now he's KO'ing Okami, out-striking Mousasi, and on the cusp of a title. I see his ground game being too much for Machida and Belfort, and he'd possibly out-strike TRT-free Belfort. I don't know how he'll do against Weidman, but I think it's a great match-up.
