Github three founders just joined the three comma club in a pretty big way. The privately held mostly supported by its users just got a big pile of cash from Microsoft 7.2 billion dollars. Each founder now holds second place in shares behind only Bill Gates. Naturally the open source community is pretty pissed about it includes cryptocurrency titans who use the platform to share their open source blockchain code. Crazy time we live in where AI designers are getting multi-million dollar paydays and even just regular coders are pulling down 6 figures. It's like they play for a sports team and are getting paydays reserved for the biggest sports stars.
