I'm pretty much into the dual-sport stuff. Adventure touring. On road and off. I usually will ride most of the winter too so long as the roads are clear and it's above 20F. I ride the Dakar in the winter since it has the heated grips and overall more reliable in the cold weather.

I spent a good portion of my summers in the saddle of a KLR. Sold my Harley in the fall, I'll probably start shopping for another bike in the spring.

I want to try dirt biking.

Whats it like to ride ? I've seen a few of them here for cheap and was going to buy one as a winter hack.
That's the R1100RS.. I don't ride that one in the winter(unless you don't have cold winters where you live). The BMW Dakar is what i'm riding now in the winter. Great bike. Comfortable. Heated grips, decent power for a 650 single.. Fuel injected. That R1100RS is nice too. That bike is almost 20 years old... it's a 1999...Sport tourer, not a crotch rocket, not a tourer.

Nope, don't trust my self. Gotten in enough trouble in a car, a bike would give me to much.... reason to go for it all the time.

I have a customized Honda vtx 1800. Its a powerful bike that handles like some of the 1100cc bikes I've owned. That said, I am thinking about selling it and getting something lighter. I have no problems with the 1800s size, but I feel like a smaller bike would better suit the type of riding I find myself doing these days.

The worst part about living in an island in the north Atlantic is the short driving season. Last year I put less than 2000 kms on the bike. Hardly enough to justify owning it.

I'll probably get one eventually. I've been too lazy to get my license. I have a scooter (yeah, I know, lame) and I enjoy it, so I'll get something bigger at some point.

Had a Dyna, swapped it for an S&S Knucklehead and did a complete custom build. It's pretty distinctive so I'm not going to put a picture up on here sorry.

Have an 09 ZX-6R, prior to that I had the ZZR 600. Can't wait for winter to be over so I can start riding again, I'm such a fair-weather rider now

Triumph rider here, Bonneville, Chocolate and Ivory..

I thought they stopped making 600rs years before that and went up to 636. I had the first production year zx 600r it was the red and blue one.

Only an idiot like you would post a gif like this now for all the bikers on here what is the rider doing wrong.
