A lot of people miss Conor’s best punch of the fight in the middle of the 3rd he hits Khabib flush with a straight left it was fast and accurate but didn’t have his full power at time, seemingly landed right on Khabib chin, and Khabib dove for a take down right after that got stuffed.
 
I'd love to see Khabib fight Tony for obvious reasons but I'd also love to see this rematch, I'd like to see what both guys learnt from the first encounter and have put to bed whether two year ring rust played a part.
 
Man conors defense is so trash. He has lowkey been blocking punches with his face since the Mendes fight .

Conor also outstruck Khabib 34-15 in significant strikes.

But you knew that too and just were fishing for likes from your friends.
 
R3 was a close round that could have gone either way, but Conor was a little more active and Khabib seemed to take the round off after a busy R2. Conor lost R1 10-9 and lost R2 10-8 so winning R3 had him down 2 points before getting dominated and finished in R4. Any way you dissect this fight it was a lopsided win for Khabib.
 
Conor landed more but Khabib had more energy and it showed.
Points are points when judging a professional sport.
I've given lesser rounds to other fighters before.

Of course I knew that. Still making fun of your dumb count. Conor had more strikes but that doesn't mean he won the round by a lot. Khabib actually stood with him and did well which is funny.

If Khabib wanted to make a point, he'd have stood and traded with Conor in Rd 1, but he didn't--because the threat of being KO'd outweighs "making a statement"

Khabib took a breather in Rd 3. He knew Conor was done, cardio-wise. He was preparing for a round 4 finish.
 
Conor won round three, straightforwardly, but the impact of that was basically nil.

I don't know why people need to be so weird about this.
