Who is your most unhealthy friend?

OK, this friend of mine eats fast food 4 meals a day. He doesn't work out, and is fat. His doctor told him that if he keeps it up he will die before he is 30 because of his astronomical blook pressure and cholestoral levels. He chain smokes, and watches tons of TV.

After he hooked up with his girl, she gained 35 pounds (she was hot). He also drinks.

One time we went to Burger King and he didn't have any money. I told him that I would spot him and he bought 9 FUCKING DOLLARS OF FOOD!!!! The motherfucker never even paid me back.

How about you guys?
 
Man, do you live on the East Coast? I don't have any friends like that.
 
Yeah I have a friend like that. He's fairly chunky and he thinks he loses weight by starving himself all day and then eating a jumbo jack meal after he smokes bud at night then falls asleep. I explain to him all the time that this is horrible for his body and metabolism. He doesn't care. and he want's to start in my martial arts training of Shou shu. I tell him it isn't possible without eating right. Then again it sucks because of my time schedule i have to eat about one fast food meal a day. But it's always salad and sometimes chicken, never burgers.

hey man...you should tell him to start training. I find that if you work out, you begin to know your body better, therefore naturally want to start eating better.

As is written in my little essay in that thread regarding shit eating habits by Bubble Boy, my unhealthiest "friends" are actually my whole family.

Sometimes you want to ring their fucking necks despite that you love them.

I buy my grandmother some trail mix to snack on so she won't eat the packs of cookies and shit, and she eats all the bits of fruit and little pieces of natural chocolate out of it and picks out all the nuts. I tell her "Hmmm, so you sat there and just ate all the sugar, great."

My Aunt cannot bring herself to NOT add macaroni and cheese, some kind of potato dish, or a lb of white rice to an otherwise perfectly healthy meal. Even though I've told her a million times the starches are just adding to her stored bodyfat, she just stares back blankly at me as if I'm fucking speaking Chinese. AND SHE WORKS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. She sees people with the same problems she has on a daily basis, and dishes out advice. And she wonders why people treat her like she's full of shit. Overweight people are NOT qualified to give advice on healthy living...period. Why? Because it's blatant hypocrisy. And to her she was just born to be fat. "Oh I've tried dieting, it doesn't work. I tried exercising, it doesn't work. I tried this pill and that pill, nothing works."

Make no mistake bro, people like this, their problem is NOT the food. Their problem is they want to die, they're just afraid to quickly. Of course they'll deny it, but then again, most of these people habitually lie as well, and denial is the first sign that you're right. They do not value themselves, they do not value their lives, thus, they cannot value what they intake on a daily basis. They go for the quickest, easiest shit, and are completely and happily ignorant to the long-term effects of anything, because they can only see about 5 feet in front of their faces, and if you talk to them about anything any further away they cover their ears and shout like a 5 year-old. Nothing you can do or say will make much difference, all you can do is se the example and let them choose to follow or not. You know what they say about the strong surviving, so the way I look at it if they never wake up for themselves and their families then goodbye, they are the weakest link. lol
 
King Kabuki, I understand what you're saying man. My mom says that she wants to lose weight but she just keeps eating lots of bread, rice, pasta, drinking alchohol, and smoking. She then says that I'm not eating good when I have my diet based around meat, veggies, fruits, dairy, nuts and seeds, and as little starch or sugar as possible. Me and my mom get along, but its just a hassle when it comes to healthy eating.
 
I work in a Nightclub and my one boss lives on doritos, cocaine and Jim Beam. Easily the most unhealthy man I have ever met.

LOL at nearly everything posted above (in a good way that is). King Kabuki, your posts are speaking to me brother!

My wife is probably the closest person to me who lives an unhealthy lifestyle. When we met she was totally lean and HOT. She's since put on A LOT of weight. She smokes. She drinks a little, but not bad. But she has absolutley no clue about healthy eating habits (note: I have a clue, but I eat pretty shitty also). As bad as I eat, she is worse. And she rarely exercises. She'll go to the gym maybe twice a month and thinks that is going to make a difference. She just ends up killing herself in some aerobics class and hurting for the next two weeks.

She eats more than me. If we go out to a chinese buffet she'll stack her plate 3 feet high and go back 3 times for more. We order a pizza and she has 3/4 of it and a large pepsi. She comes home from the grocery store with bags and bags of crap (bacon, cookies, sweetened cereal, soda, etc). We're slowly changing our ways. We're talking quite a bit about altering our diet (one reason I'm here in the Dieting Discussion Thread in the first place). I go with her now to the grocery store and nix any crap in the bud. I figure it's easier to keep it out of the house than to try and resist it once it's there. Her biggest weakness is denial (mine is discipline).

Oh, btw, the most unhealthy friend I have is a guy who is just a goofball. Great friend, but a goofball.
He works out, but it's so goofy. He jumps rope and counts each skip. So he'll say, " I did 521 skips last night." and I'm like "You counted the skips? Why don't you just time yourself?" I went running with him once, and when we started he just sprinted down the road. I thought, "Holy shit, this guys got one helluva pace..." but he ended up stopping about a 1/4 mile down the road, bent over on his knees, breathing hard. I stopped with him thinking something was wrong. After a bit he stood up and said, "You ready?" and took off running at a full sprint. Again he gassed about 1/4 mile down the road and I stopped with him. Knowing that we were planning a 3 mile run, I finally said something after about 5 of these sprint / stop cycles. I suggested that we run at an easy pace, but not stop, just kinda go for a jog. So...he said ok, and took of sprinting. I was like "WTF???!!!" We stopped and caught our breath about 20 times during that jog.

So, then his diet is kinda like someone mentioned above. He'll fast all day, then break and binge out on junk food all night. Mind you, I've got my own issues, but I've tried to tell him that fasting is bullshit. He still does this nearly every day.

One time him and I went to the weight room together. When we got there I started on the bench. He proceeded to work on judo rolls right in the middle of the weight room.

He works out, but it's kind of this useless goofy shit. I think a lot of it does him no good whatsoever, and in fact may be hurting him. I think he ate lead paint chips as a child.
 
Got a buddy who smokes is about 40lbs overweight, doesnt exercise, eats fatty food, and drinks at least a 12 pack a beer a day, usually a case on his days off.

He starts drinking when he gets off work or around noon on his days off and doesnt stop till he passes out/ goes to sleep
 
My most unhealthy friend is someone I work with. He works straight nightshifts 6pm to 6am. 27 years old, never lived away from home. Drinks, does liberal amounts of X and his diet consists soley of fast food. Wakes up and arrives at work with a whopper and fries. Usually has a slurpy and a confection machine burrito for a snack and then will go and get either a pizza or Wendy's for his lunch. On the way home he usually stops by McDonald's for breakfast. No exercise at all, not since gym was mandatory in school, he's gotta be the laziest motherfucker I know. I've never actually seen this guy do physical labor at work, he'd never buy a house cause he'd be too lazy to cut the lawn. He's extremely pasty looking and though blessed with a fast metabolizm through his early 20's, he's quickly developing a paunch. Had chest pains in the shower a few months ago which dropped him to his knees. Went to the doctor and was told he had a 35 percent greater chance of having a heart attack than the average 27 year old. He quit fast food for almost a week and a half and felt so shitty that he missed 4 days of work. He's back on the fast food now and hasn't missed a day. Despite all of this, his girlfriend is smokin' hot.
