While Lil’ Kim’s latest transformation is making the waves, fans of the hip-hop artist are still waiting for her to release brand new music. Back in March, Lil’ Kim released a 10-track mixtape called Lil’ Kim Season, which is the most music she has released since her 2005 full album The Naked Truth.

Lil’ Kim took a break from the music world three years ago when her daughter, Royal Reign, was born, as reported in The Daily Beast. Unfortunately, Lil’ Kim ended up in a custody battle over Royal with the child’s father, rapper Mr. Papers, a year after their daughter’s birth, but the case was eventually settled.

Last year, the 41-year-old appeared at BET Awards to join Puff Daddy and Ma$e on stage for the 20th Anniversary of Bad Boy Records. She will team up with them again in May when they will perform a show to honor late rapper Notorious B.I.G. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
