Who is the smallest fighter that you think could beat a UFC heavyweight?

The worst HW on the roster is probably Jared Vanderaa or maybe Chase Sherman.

I think Khamzat and Usman could beat these guys. Arguably they could beat them even if they had to weigh in at 170 and those guys got to weigh in at HW. If he was allowed to weigh in at his walk around weight then I think Khamzat could probably get a 1st rd sub on them.

If you let the little guy fight at his walk around weight though, then I actually think Max (who supposedly walks around at 190-200) could probably decision Sherman although the reach might be a problem for him.

Anyone else think any other out of camp FW or maybe even a BW could take a bad HW?

There are so many different variables here. But generally I do agree that the elite WW's (like Usman and Leon) would have a decent chance against the lowest level HW's, especially if they aren't cutting any weight. Usman would come in there at a jacked 200 lbs and could likely wear down some of the worst HW's with his pace and speed, while possessing enough strength to not get manhandled.

Disagree about Max decisioning Chase Sherman though. Yes Max might get up to 190 at times, but I doubt he's in a good fighting shape at that weight. Even then, the strength disadvantage against a guy like Sherman would be pretty staggering (Max looked like he had a huge strength disadvantage against Dustin at 155, never mind a HW). I doubt Max could do any real damage against Sherman (who has a good chin and isn't a bad kickboxer himself), while a couple decent lands by Sherman would wreck Max. Not to mention the fact that Sherman could probably just ragdoll him and lay on top of him he wanted to. Size matters, and I really don't think any FW is beating any UFC HW.

Top MWs like Alex, Izzy, Rob would beat pretty much every unranked UFC HW, Pereira would come in weighting 230lbs anyway, so somebody like chase sherman or chris barnet probably wouldn't last a round with him. As for WWs maybe Leon, Khamzat, Shavkat, Usman could beat some of them, but I can easily see all of them getting KO'd cuz of the power difference. LWs and down would be too small to do anything.

And I can't. You're severely underestimating the difference size makes, at least when it comes to trained athletes. They would pick him up and throw him like a football.

Not going to the lowest weight class, but it seems to me that any big LHW with skills (top 20) should be able to beat any unranked HW.

Watching the "skills" of these unranked fat HWs, I really can't understand why LHWs like Ovince St.Preux, Kennedy Nzechukwu or even William Knight or Menifield don't move up and beat up fat guys like Parisian, Justin Tafa, Parker Porter.
