Who is the poorest top 10 fighter in the UFC?

Coleman isn't doing well financially at all, he wasn't good with his money and spent a lot of it on partying. He had to start a go fund me for his hip replacement, thankfully Bad Boy stepped in and paid for it for him.

Not saying he's rolling in the dough, but I think Coleman is at least stable and comfortable now. He's pretty damn open on Twitter, and he celebrated a sobriety milestone recently.

On the topic of Hammer House, Wes Sims claimed to have been homeless ahead of TUF 10. He was the original "I've been sleeping under bridges" quote. With Wes it's hard to tell how much is truth and how much is him being a goofball, but my impression is that he was exaggerating for comic effect but had in fact been struggling badly.

He was never in the top10 but I’d imagine nobody is putting $$$ on War Machines prison books… he likely can’t even afford ramen on the Inside, probably also a prison punk since he’s in there for rape.

He got married in 2018 to his pen pal, so she probs gives him money.

Check out his Twitter for a fair sample, but basically he's turned into a sort of life coach/pickup artist guru posting about women's "red flags," which ironically is itself an enormous red flag. I always liked Fitch as a fighter, and he was a pleasure to talk to on the occasions I've interviewed him, but he recently compared dating a woman with lots of former sex partners to "eating pre-chewed steak," which told me pretty much all I needed to know about how he looks at the opposite sex.

Fitch is a beta loser.

what about jason mayhem miller? anyone has any update on him? he seems to be getting arrested on a frequent basis and pretty much just lives in random places and breaks into random locations...

Ngannou has to borrow money from friends and family between camps. Sounds poor.

Ken Shamrock lives in a motorhome, seems quite poor..

That's UFC and WWF money he burned off. He could've been good with the income off just one of those careers if he managed his money better.

Back in his time that paid more than ufc did.

actually still might

It still pays pretty good depending where you're at. A guy I know had/has a "part time" job doing it, been a while since I have seen him. They would just work him 2 hours under the time he needed to be labeled full time, but was making 25 bucks an hour about. 35 to 38 hours a week depending on the time of the year. In a week and a half he makes what I get for disability for the month.....

Even if he lived modestly and saved his money, a major emergency like his surgeries were going to be a massive hit to his finances. MMA Elite donated 100k for his first operation.

Anyway, looking at the rankings I'm going to take a stab at #10 Flyweight David Dvorak as he's only had three fights in the UFC on the shitty opening contract and hasn't won any bonuses.

Surely Ngannou is a contender? Apparently he needs to borrow money to have fight camps.

Jason mayhem Miller has to be up there.
Quick fact : the guy has wins over Tim Kennedy and Robbie Lawler Sakuraba and “pre-safe Serra” GSP decision’d him

As fans of MMA we like to think of guys like GSP and Liddell and Jones as the Brady's, Trouts, and LeBron's of MMA but our sport is basically arena football
