Maybe longest "Active" winstreak in the division. Dos Santos had a 10 fight winstreak and Gane is only 8-0. His last 2 fights were a joke and he looks good in a terrible division. Don't expect him to get past Volkov

My vote goes to Al Iaquinta. He’s 1-3 in last 4 years and 0-2 in the last 2 years. He’s still ranked at LW, a division that should be one of the deepest and toughest divisions around.

Iaquinta has never looked impressive to me. He’s tough and pretty well rounded (wrestle-boxer with sub defense) but that’s about it. He’s pretty much retired too, one of the most inactive fighters. Todd Duffee of the LW division

A lot of good answers so far.

I'll throw out Zabit. Guy dropped a round to Kyle Bochniak, Brandon Davis, & Jeremy Stephens but is still considered a title contender. Quite frankly he would have lost to Bochniak, Stephens, & Kattar if they were 5-round main events.

I also think Gaethje is a bit over ranked. He lose to a handful of guys in the top 15 who can wrestle & grapple. He's basically been protected from grapplers his entire career prior to Khabib. Tony has great chokes but they come from knocking down his opponent or sprawling their takedown, never from his own offensive wrestling.

He's not, but he shouldn't even be top 30. His best wins are Almeida(1-5 in his last 6) & the ghost of Eddie Wineland. Both guys likely to be cut very soon.

He has 2 cancelled fights on Tapology since 2019. First was against Kattar and it doesn't matter what happened because it was rescheduled and took place a month later. Second was against Yair and it was Yair who pulled out.

Thats only for one officially booked. Guy has been doing a back and forth for 2 years now with Yair and the likes and still hasnt booked a fight with almost no valid reason.
How can a guy who has never beat or fought a top 10 oponent be ranked 3rd 9n the world in spite not even fighting in 2 years?

Guy should be on the choppong block instead of the title picture. Its embarassing.

OK well I don't know what's going on with Zabit, but to be fair it's been 1 year and 5 months since his last fight, not 2 years.
The standards on inactivity seem to have been loosened during the pandemic since a bunch of people didn't fight at all in 2020.
I imagine if he's not injured he'll have a fight announced fairly soon
