Masvidal is ranked above Thompson and Maia, two guys he lost to.

He shouldn't be ranked above Wonderboy but Maia fight was ages ago and he almost won and has looked better since unlike Demian

Assuncao, Weidman, Volkan etc have beaten a few fighters ranked above them but they're justifiable at this point in time

The question is : who do you rank above Costa ? Whitakker obviously, but does Gastelum, Till or Vettori have more TOP 5 win since that's your measuring stick ?
The order inside the top 5 doesn't count for me, i don't care if you are #2 or #5, it means you are ready for a TS

This. I agree that Costa looks over ranked on the surface... but Gastelum has been collecting losses lately, can’t be number 2, Till has one close win at MW, and Vettori hasn’t beaten anyone of note yet..

Chris Weidman MW Ranked 11th, currently has won 2 out of his last 7 fights, does have a win against number 13th Omari but come on now, it was a close victory that he barely scraped by with, he should have already been booted out of the top 15, and Tyron Woodley WW Ranked 10th.. 4 straight losses in a row.. like how many losses does it take till you lose your top 15..

I don't like how you can lose as many times as you want but as long as it's against a guy in the top 15, until you lose to someone outside of it you don't lose your top 15 ranking.. doesn't make sense even if you were a top contender.. there are plenty of people who deserve a better rank

I just can't agree simply because Conor truly is better than anyone above 5.. I understand why people feel that way with his inactivity.. but He has been fighting atleast more recently twice in the last 14 months.. he's 1 and 1, yes.. but he's better than Dan Hooker, Paul Felder, Al Iaquinta, Kevin Lee, Gregor Gillespie, Diego Ferreira, I see him winning against all of those guys mentioned, so it's not the same as when he didn't fight for 3 years.. he has been fighting and although I don't like keeping guys ranked high when they lose.. that win over Cowboy.. and his status and the type of fighter that he is, does make me think he deserves the top ranking..

You can't boot Conor out of the top 15th unless you match him up with Diego Sanchez like he wanted lol.. cause any other type of fight out of the top 15 doesn't make sense.. the fights inside 15 do.. like Kevin Lee vs Conor actually makes a lot of sense.. or RDA vs Conor.. those fights make sense and because of that he deserves to be 6th.. I don't get how you guys don't understand that.. he's 6th.. its not like he's number 1 at LW... he's 6th!! for once the UFC got that right.. you sherdoggers are wrong in my opinion.... willing to debate this please make the attempt

I hate to say it, but Lawler at 15 in the ufc rankings is silly.

He’s my boy and I love his fights but he’s lost 5 of 6, hasn’t won since 2017.

There are much better fighters at WW atm.

Conor has never lost 2 in a row, get your facts straight.. and if you look at just the last 3 years. He is 1 and 1, with the loss being against the number 1 contender at LW.. so how is 6th so crazy?
