We all know styles make fights. Tho it won't happen, I can see Werdum matching up well with him, and, I still think Stipe could do well. Who say you, Sherbros, and why?

Blaydes - because of his size, great chin, and wrestling prowess.

I'd still favor DC for the win though.

i'm not even sure tbh.

most guys won't be able to stop his wrestling, and even if they could DC is faster than most at HW with better hands and better cardio, and he's got his HW power back so.... idk man.

DC is just that fuckin good.

Blaydes imo
I think Blaydes could make things hard enough on the wrestling front to make DC forget seriously attempting any takedowns and I could see Blaydes getting DC down but not keeping him there. I think DC hurts him on the feet.
I'd really like to see this fight and I agree that Blaydes probably poses the most threat at HW right now.

If they weren't such good friends and already confirmed they will never fight, Velasquez is probably Cormier's hardest fight.

It's stipe 100%

Don't count on cormier to give us that though

Werdum could potentially pose problems too

Volkov or Ngannou. Everyone else on the roster would get demolished including Werdum and Blaydes

Curtis Blaydes bigger wrestler with good chin
Good chin? He's been heavily rocked in his last two fights.
This is Blaydes' worst match up by far as the only thing Blaydes is good at, DC is better with hands that are lightyears ahead.

He was never rocked in his last fight even though he caught that flush knee. I dont think DC could hurt him like Hunt did.

after moving up to HW, itzzz Mr. Conor McGregor

Stipe Mio..

Oh wait

No, why should I wait? Ever heard of a delete key? Some jokes that work, at least to a degree, when spoken just don't work at all when they're typed.

On any given day, Stipe Miocic is just as capable of beating Cormier as anyone else with maybe one exception. If they fought 5 times Miocic would likely win 2 or 3 times. The only guy who I think might be an exception is Brock. He's not as well rounded a fighter as Stipe is, but with his physical attributes he's still capable of beating any fighter on the planet on a good day. I'd say that DC has an advantage in that MMA is his full time job whereas for Brock, MMA is more of a hobby. Brock has another job that has paid him millions and millions of dollars, so he doesn't need to fight anyone, especially at his age. Unlike most fighters who fight because they need the money, Brcck likes the money but his main reason for fighting is he likes the competition.

He's a lay and pray wrestler who got smashed by Ngannou the fight won't be competitive.

I'm not even going to think of someone because his last fights will be with people not on his level.

Volkov because he's actually able to use his range and fight from the outside (unlike Stipe), and Blaydes because of his size and wrestling. I hate to say it, but I think Cormier beats both of them, nevertheless.
