How long before a title loses its meaning to you? 3 years? 10 years? never?

People arguing that belt was legitimate always have trouble with this one. Or just give a ridiculous answer.

I'd argue that if a belt doesnt lose ite legitimacy after two years with no legitimate defenses, while there is a more legitimate belt, you just really dont care.....the UFC could annoint chris leben champ tomorrow and you'd see no problem with it......some fans have standards however.....

A title will never lose it’s meaning to me. It does for you. Great

Glad to see people finally recognize the true GOAT

Gsp leading.

The real fans have had their say.

This poll was made before Bisping was KTFO by Gastelum and before GSP relinquished his belt.

I voted Fedor from the start. I have a feeling a lot of people wouldn't pick GSP now. (Even though that is fickle it is true.) I would like to see a new poll made now

This is going to be the 1st poll where GSP has taken top spot for Fedor. For years I’d have said Fedor but it’s obvious GSP has surpassed him now, Fedor ruined his legacy by his last string of losses.

Lol... I wonder how many Fedor die-hards made another account so they could vote twice:D Don't get me wrong Fedor was a fucking bad ass and deserves to be in the conversation, but GSP and Jones are ahead of him imo.

Doubt it.
gsp is goat.

Crazy to see Anderson with only 55 votes. His legacy really isn't holding up like Fedor's....

Fedor kept fighting past his prime. He lost at 33, 34 and 40.

GSP retired at 32 years old right after he struggled with Hendricks. He only came back to beat a 38 year old Bisping.

Had GSP not retired and kept fighting and lost a few times would that change your mind?

Retiring and not taking risk past age 32 > continuing to fight past age 32 and losing?????

They both started at age 23. Fedor started in 2000 and GSP in 2002. Fedor is 5 years older and had a lot more fights so no surprise he declined first, on top of fighting past his prime unlike GSP.

Fedor on his beat day was p4p the best but record wise gotta go with GSP based on getting those wins at the right time. Not too much seperated them but for me Fedor was more like RJJ and GSP mayweather... on Jones best night he would do things no one else could but Mayweather is p4p ahead of him because his record was better.

But GSP and Floyd only have that record because they played it safe.

GSP retired at age 32.

Fedor kept fighting past 32 and lost at 33, 34 and 40.

Had GSP kept fighting he likely would have lost.

He also never fought anyone bigger other than Bisping. Fedor fought several dudes that were several inches taller and 50 pounds heavier and were far more dangerous and vicious than Bisping. He was almost always the smaller guy and did not lose for a whole 10 years while fighting many dangerous KO artists in the division where one punch can finish you. 10 years! GSP lost 2 or 3 times in the same time span before he retired.

Fedor also displayed more ways to win. Fedor would win by standing KO, GNP TKO, submission from top, submission from bottom, decision from outstriking, decision from outgrappling....Fedor could win anywhere the fight went.

Yeah maybe GSP has has a more well managed career. If people judged the greatest on the best on their best night and not over the whole career Fedor would be top for me but he aged a lot worse, he didn’t stay in shape or shake up his training when he got older.

He had more potential to be the best but he didn’t keep up with the times and his career as a whole on paper side by side to GSP doesn’t stack up in terms or wins and losses any more.

Hate saying it because Fedor was a pleasure to watch and GSP put me to sleep at times... again why I see them like comparing Jones and Mayweather.

I picked GSP, due to the fact that Fedor had a really rough last few years. Fedor is/was great, no doubt though...also, didn't consider anyone who failed drug tests, even though, to me, JBJ is the GOAT skillwise
