I don't know why, but I have a feeling that Alvarez will win, he is very underrated and wont be taken down nearly as easily as Pettis did, while he may not have the grappling of Nurmagomedov, he could upset the rhythm of Dos Anjos, or at least put him against the fence.

Also, after watching Robin Black break this down, it has given me a little more confidence in picking Alvarez to win, as he wont wilt like Cerrone, or get bullied like Pettis.

I am not picking him to win right now, but I am wondering who is, as you all may be right come fight night.

Anyway, that belt will soon be Khabib's belt

well if your opinion is based off of a robin black breakdown, I'm not surprised you're actually picking Eddie.

Dos Anjos is better at every aspect of MMA, by quite a bit to be honest. It's possible that Eddie wins, especially if he fights like he did in the second Chandler fight, but he is a very big underdog.

breaking an mma fight down is becoming like breaking the economy down.

a lot of words, a lot of 'what if', a lot of philosphy but at the end of the day economists are good in scaring people while they only prove that they are unable to predict a crisis.

common sense, guys.

How is someone getting a title shot being underrated?

I don't think that this fight is even gonna be close.

Alvarez is getting smoked. He's not gonna get away with a conservative approach, and he thinks that RDA's aggression will "play right into his hands".

He's wrong.

I think Alvarez has a much better chance than most people are giving him. A pure boxer/wrestler could give RDA trouble, as a kickboxer/jiujitsu player. Alvarez has the skills to transition from solid boxing fundamentals to wrestling or at least effective fence clinching, the cardio to go all 5 rounds, and the grit to survive some scary situations that would break most fighters.

RDA is the champ for a reason, and he has been looking beastly as of late, but I wouldn't sleep on Alvarez. He is a tough opportunist.

I heard Eddie on a podcast the other day and he sounds like he is ready to be the champ. I just have a feeling. Plus he needs the $ for his infant so good luck to him.

Me. RDA is overrated and Brazilian.
What's the Brazilian part supposed to mean? You don't like Brazilians? They have great asses though......

Alvarez is from Philly. So you know he's tough. As much as I'd "like" for him to pull off the victory, I think RDA gets the finish
