He actually broke down Conor’s fights in an interesting way, and put a ton of gifs into the breakdowns too.

I don’t get the hate for him honestly.

The possibilities are as endless as it would be for anyone. The guy could literally be anyone with any kind of past with Conor for all we know.

1. He said his mom was a terrible lay.
2. he said his sister better get back to hooking on the streets for him
   
3. He used to bully Conor as a kid
4. He is a rival gangster boss who Conor was trying to patch things up with
5. He's a gangster who killed or seriously wounded one of Conor's friends
6. He's a supplier to his distillery who is manipulating their supply
   
7. After Conor offered him the drink he said he would kill his child or rape his wife if Conor didn't get out of his face.
8. He was the client of a plumber boss back in the day that Conor worked with & told lies to his boss that got him fired.
9. He was a past landlord who kicked him out of his rental house & Conor had to live on the streets for 2 weeks
10. He was the owner of a gym back in the day that conor trained at who told Conor to leave & never come back.
11. He's an old teacher of Conor's who told him he'd never amount to anything & gave Conor bad grades he didn't deserve.
    
12. he's an ex-police officer who trumped up charges against Conor as a kid & had him locked up
13. He was a teacher to Dee growing up who exposed himself to her after class one day.

I don't know... use your imagination. Fact is that we don't know their history or who this guy is... or what was said. Did you read the story I posted above? If you just saw that altercation I was in without knowing the back story you would've thought I was just bullying a smaller kid. Context is everything.

Now that said... lets say that what you & way too many people are ASSUMING is what actually happened. Lets say Conor didn't know the guy... & Conor was offering to buy a round & he rudely refused & that's the only reason Conor punched him. In that case I am with all of you who are assuming the worse. That would be a f*cked reason. However, since we don't know:

• who the guy was
• what his past with Conor or Dee was
• what was said
• nor do we even have a full video that isn't chopped up.

It's silly to just assume this is an innocent old man who gave no real reason to get attacked.

You assume things like this when is the first or second time. In his case, there are multiple times. Of course there is always a "reason". You remind me of the typical annoying guy that has excuses for everything and will argue until people don't want to and believe he "won'. I can tell you have excuses at work, at home and even at competition in case you practice any martial art.

& yes, Context matters. A "senior citizen" with a gun can do just as much damage as anyone.
This is about the 6th time I've said this... & the 2nd time I've pointed to the fact I've said this a bunch of times... but here goes again in capital letters.

I'm not even all that invested in this. I'm simply pointing out that you all are jumping to conclusions & trying to turn your assumptions into fact. All we know is that conor hit him after he rudely turned down a drink. We don't know if they have history or why the guy was so rude to begin with. There's also a 3minute gap in the video from the time he turned down the drink to the time Mac hit him.
This guy is in his 50's ffs & ate a McGregor left better than Jose Aldo.

There's also a 3 minute gap in the video from the time the guy turned down the drink... to the time he got hit. So more was obviously said.

Conor's minion that that pulled Conor away, was standing RIGHT THERE 5 seconds after Conor approached & was right there the whole time. Why was he not off in the distance? Seems like he knew there was history & he had to be on top of it.

I'd say that offering him a drink is more an indication that he DOES know him. You're just assuming he's offering a stranger a drink. Plus why was Conor's minion right there? You don't see his guards standing that close in other vids. It's like he knew something could go down because they had history.

"The Mirror" said that conor is often seen coming into the club... & they also say that the guy that was hit is a regular.

It looks like someone he had bad blood with & Conor's trying to squash it by offering a drink. The guy is not accepting the apology & rudely denies a free drink. It really seems like they have some past to me. Why do think he was so adamant to turn down a free drink while day drinking? Why do you think he was so rude about it if they didn't know each other?

Again... I'm not saying they knew each other prior. Let me be very clear on that. I'm saying that you are assuming this whole thing was about a stranger turning down a drink when there could be way more of a backstory to this than anyone realizes. (including the "unknown source" who quoted what the 50 yr. old young man said.)

You should pay more attention to the body language & positioning of conor's thugs who pulled conor off of him. he comes up at the start of the video... 5 seconds after Conor approaches your innocent 50 year old senior citizen... & hovers right there by conor the whole time with the other thug... both with serious looks on their faces. You know how Dana has his hand between 2 fighters at face off... that guy seemed to be in that position cocked & ready to pull conor back... & he did so rocket quick.

The Mirror - seems to be the source everyone is copying. They probably have a valid source... but it's strange I can't find an article from April... & only now they're reporting their "source." They also don't mention that the person "witnessed" it. They just call him "a source.".. not a "witness." But either way... nothing is said about whether they have past or not. They could have tremendous past but a "source" only watching the incident could easily mistakenly feel that it was all about the whiskey
