Who is more legit? Cory Sandhagen or Sean O'malley

Cory smoked Moraes, had a KO of the year caliber knockout vs. Edgar, and went 5 hard rounds to a coinflip decision with Dillashaw, who looked as good as we've ever seen him. His only blemish is the Sterling loss, but I attribute that more to an elite performance on Aljo's end than a bad one on Cory's.

All of Sean's wins on the other hand have come against guys who've gotten cut or likely will be in the near future (Wineland's days are very numbered, and Moutinho's only getting another fight as a courtesy. Everyone else is gone). The guy's striking is elite, but he isn't durable, and we have no idea how his grappling is.

"flow" type of fighting style
their fighting styles are not both "flow"... their fighting styles are not very similar at all, in fact. Cory fights with lots of unusual feints and footwork like Dom and TJ. Sean doesn't do that and relies on his speed, accuracy and output.

well they both have 14 wins but o'malley only has one (flukey) loss, so what do you think TS?

Cory beat a UFC champ and a contender.
Sean broke his leg on the #13 guy.
You decide.
100% this. As far as I'm concerned, O'Malley, Khamzat, and Islam are all in the same category of over-hyped and unproven contenders. These guys might all be legit, but none of them have beaten anyone in the top 15.

Pretty sad that TS has been on SD for 4+ years and can't see the difference in levels, let alone fighting style...

Khamzat destroyed 2 guys from a class weight above. Can you imagine O'Malley doing that to feather weights?

Khamzat at least has never lost.
Salty Sean O'Myleg has.

Cory....is on the up and up, has already beat a former champ, an exciting style and seems to have that air about him. Sean...lost to the #13 guy, took forever to beat a regional tier paint salesman, thinks he cant get addicted to heroin and hangs out with 69 voluntarily.

Roxanna Modafairy is more legit than sugarshins

they’re both very legit but sandhagen has the resumé to back it up

No literally Cory has lost to higher level fighters than O’Malley has beaten.

Aljo paper champ or not still has a very impressive resume with good wins, and TJ is a former two time champion.

Meanwhile O’Malley hasn’t won against a top contender.
But that doesn't tell you anything. It's a statement that doesn't help answer the question of the thread. If I lose to someone better than anyone you have beaten, we can't draw conclusions on whether you would have lost too. While what you said might/is true, it doesn't contribute. Now saying, the guy O'Malley lost to is worse than all these guys Cory beat helps answer the question.
