Who has the Highest Fight IQ in MMA history?

WIthout a doubt Valentina the Bullet

Jones
Fedor
Silva
Khabib
GSP
DJ

well every one that could be in the GOAT question must have one of the highest fight IQs.

Within competition. It is probably DJ. He is one of the rare fighters I seen make adjustments mid fight after prodding for a weakness. Other "smart" fighters have a game plan or follow it well. They won by watching tape and planning. Not saying DJ doesn't gameplan but he can make adjustments after the plan fails. He is also in one of the more skillful divisions.

Cringe list
Lmfao at Jones, Israel, and usman
Using your flawed logic, any mistake at all could be considered poor fight iq. Try again, kiddo
Fedor made many poor decisions in the ring, he got away with most of it though.

There wasn’t anything particularly smart about how Aldo fought. Mostly he just used his speed and explosiveness to win fights. Didn’t set traps, feint or anything like that.

Jones is the best tactician in the game. The way he conditioned DC to that headkick was a thing of beauty. He’s flawless in rematches, as he gets more data on his opponent he gets even more dangerous. He adapts in fights like no one else, always winning the championship rounds. His fight IQ is probably the best in the business.

Usman is a master at game planing. He always fights his opponents where they are the weakest. He smothered Woodley in clinch to avoid his big right hand. Shut down Maia’s TDs and out pointed him on the feet. Wrestlefucked Masvidal the first time to avoid his striking, then in the rematch where Masvidal was prepared for his wrestling, went on to KO him on the feet. Unlike Fedor, when he got Burns hurt, he didn’t follow him to the ground as he was aware of Burns submission skills.

Izzy and the rest of CKB are a step ahead of everyone at feints and setting traps. The way he read everything Rob was doing was phenomenal. To KO a fighter of Rob’s Cali we like that is amazing. He also didn’t fall into Yoel’s trap and didn’t engage with him and outpointed him from a safe distance. Poor Costa looked completely lost in there, Izzy was playing him like a matador plays the bull

Would have to be Jon. Khabib seems to know positioning like no other so he has to be up there. A lot of people who have fought him say he’s extremely hard to deal with both on feet and on the ground.

Khabib has the highest fight IQ ever in the history of MMA! He didn’t get that much damage and never in danger and always destroyed his opponents! Fuck all the haters
Nah, people who never fought have higher IQ and got even less damage.

I am not impressed by your post. You should watch more film on these guys, and try to leave emotion out of it, ffs…

Conor?
WTF?
uhhhhhh........NO

GSP or Jones. They look like completely different fighters from one fight to the next to exploit their opponents weaknesses.

In cage? GSP or Jones.

Career as a whole? Conor. Can't deny his come up and work ethic and financial pursuits.

Stopped reading at "Aldo doesn't use feints or set ups" go to a gym and get off the internet.

Weight class( comp)/ classes.
Taking as minimal damage / longevity while winning.
Adaptability to any style( at the top of fight IQ) / longevity .
Cerebral fearlessness while defending yourself / longevity .

After making the deductions ( khabib hasnt fought long enough , Cruz mentions are a joke considering his comp at the time & not that great anyway & gsp may belong in other categories- not this one. People fail at the understanding of this topic. )

I'll echo DJs opinion :

Mousasi & Jones
