Who has the better chicken? Popeye's or KFC?

I had KFC for the first time in a long time yesterday and it got me curious about Popey's. I've never had it and the closest one to where I live is probably 4 hours away. I keep seeing the commercials and want to try it. Is it better than KFC or is it about the same?

I'm a vegetarian and haven't eaten meat in 4 years, but I remember getting queasy from kfc also. Samething with Churches Chicken and Long John Silvers.

Yeah. Churches chicken is the worse. I remember taking a bite of churches chicken and grease would shoot out into my mouth bleh. Their biscuits were bomb tho.

KFC's spices are better. Can't beat the flavor of the crispy skin. Popeyes overall is better because the actual white meat is less greasy and more tasty. So pick your poison.

I think kfc chicken coating tastes better but it's a soggy greasy mess . Popeyes is crispy and less greasy feeling and i think it comes down to kfc being pressure cooked while popeyes is fried . So popeyes tastes like a classic fried chicken and kfc has that unique batter recipe taste but isn't really fried so it's soggy and greasy . The taste and texture is very different .

if you want good chicken get some portuguese chicken. around same price but so much better its stupid to even compare.

Popeyes is on another level. I'd even prefer grocery store fried chicken to KFC.
