There is a new submission series event in Vancouver Jul 5th. I wil be compteting in it but I am not sure how it works. Reading the rules it seems like the only thing that counts is submission attempts. Does that mean even if you dominate position, the guy can throw up weak ass collar chokes or armbar attempts from the bottom or inside your guard and get the decision? I am a position first guy and I want to make sure I have some time to adjust my gameplan a bit if I need to. Thanks for the help.
